ORIGAMI SPARROW CARD (Fundraiser for Wild Bird Fund + Pathways Program)

$20.00

One origami sparrow card, envelope, and donation insert.

- Consists of a folded origami sparrow, with details drawn and painted by hand, attached to a folded card (3.5" x 4.875").
- Comes with a black envelope (3.625" x 5.125").
- The origami sparrow card can be framed as a small artwork, or shared as a card with the envelope.
- A small insert explains my fundraiser: that with each card, a $20 donation is made to two nonprofits ($10 to Wild Bird Fund and $10 to All Angels' Pathways Program) and the note explains the important work they do in NYC.
- Packaged flat in a larger envelope, and sent by regular USPS mail.

My goal is to sell 100 cards and raise $2,000 ($1,000 to Wild Bird Fund and $1,000 to All Angels' Pathways)!

------------------------------------

This holiday season, I am making origami sparrow cards to raise money for Wild Bird Fund and the Pathways Program at All Angels’ Church — two nonprofits in New York City that are meaningful to me.

Sparrows are birds that are usually overlooked — they are small, common, and often ignored. Even fellow birders tend not to care much about them. But I think they’re worth noticing.

Wild Bird Fund and the Pathways Program are two places in NYC that care for those often overlooked as well. The WBF cares for and rehabilitates orphaned and injured birds. (This fall, I was able to bring a bird injured from a window collision to be treated at WBF). And the Pathways Program provides meals and support every week for unhoused and vulnerable neighbors. (I help out in their kitchen.)

I will donate 100% of your $20 to support these two nonprofits:
$10 will go to the Wild Bird Fund and
$10 to the All Angels’ Pathways Program

A reminder that sparrows — and all those served by these two programs — matter.
